Week 14

FINALE!!!

This week is our 14th week means this is our final week for this semester. But there are still many works that we have to finishFor Module 4 tasks, the dateline is on 29th Oct ( Thursday).We have to finish all the task in Module 4 which is about video editing and submit many things on Thursday which are:~Task 1 ( pair, video editing)~Task 2 ( Individual,-extracting audio and pictures from video,Lesson Plan)~Task 3 ( Group, lesson plans)~Module 4 ( video Editing)Since this is the last week for our lesson, I would like to make some conclusion regarding on this subject. My point of view as well as my opinion. Frankly speaking, I have learn many things in this resources class especially something related to technology.I've put really sooo much effort in this subject by doing all the tasks given. I hope I'll get an A's in this subject, insyaAllah.Last but not least, we will have an exam next monday, wish me luck and good luck to all my friends!~

Week 13

WEEK FOR SUBMISSION AND MODULE 4

THE TASKS THAT WE NEED TO SUBMIT:

1) Module 2 (photo editing)
2) Individual work, hardcopy + softcopy (task 1)
3) Pair work, e-book, hardcopy + softcopy (task
4) Group work, lesson plans, hardcopy + sofcopy (task 3)

We're already in week 13 and it means that only one week left before the end of the semester. I cant imagine that we are already in 13th week. So, for this week, we were asked to submit module 2 which is our E-book and lesson plans. Means there are only 2 modules-5tasks are waiting and we should finish it before the end of the semester.Frankly speaking, I have learnT a lot from all the modules. I learn how to edit pictures by using many softwares and its really interesting. Before this, I was not interested at all to use Photoshop software but now i've learn a lot for example how to erase the background, how to do some changes to the pictures etc. Forget about photo editing, let us talk about video editing. Before this I only know to edit and to make a video only by using movie maker,but from this module 4 ( mainly about photo editing, i've learn on how to use many softwares such as any video converter, Real Player, online downloader etc to edit the video. Besides, there are many things in this module ex: how to extract audio, how to extract pictures etc.It really helps me to enhance my knowledge as well as skills about technology.

Week 12

E-BOOK, MODULE 2(CONT.), INTRO TO VIDEO EDITING

This week's class, Pn Foziah has showed some examples of e-books to us. This is to help us to get clearer ideas on how to make an e-book. E-book is an interesting and attractive way to be integrated in teaching and learning process. It helps to engage learning in a fun and meaningful way. She also gives us some tutorials on Module 2 (photo editing).Then, checking the e-Book that we have done.For e-book, there must be:

1) A theme to the story

2) Setting (time and place)

3) Plot that shows the conflict, climax and resolution

4) Characterization

5) Navigational tools to make sure the slides can work properly (can go to next slide and previous slide)

6) Pictures must be clear cut and colourful, no different shades or shadows

7) Sound to accompany the e-book reading.

Then, Puan Foziah went around the class to check our E-book and she gave some comments regarding on our works. Her comments really help us to improve our works.Then, before the class come to the end, Pn Foziah gave us the continuation of Module 2 which is something about picture editing.For this week also, Pn Foziah gave us some introduction about video editing by showing us some examples of video editing done by her students. Again, there are some criteria that we should consider when we complete this task.

Then, Puan Foziah reminded us to think about our video editing theme as well as think about the story board and we may want to tell us what we plan to do before the class end. My partner, Hafizzudin has decided to choose 'Friendship' as our theme for our video editing task. And I'm sure it will be very interesting.That's all for this week entry.

Week 11

We have done the photo editing task. The theme of my edited picture is friendship. So, my focus is to make the picture looks like a photo that can be hang in the museum and to show everybody about bonds beetween two friends..here are the pictures..

During the class, Pn Foziah has introduced e-book to us. She also showed some of the examples of the e-book to us. In pairs, we are asked to complete Task 2 which is creating e-book in Ms PowerPoint. The e-book must be designed with the suitability of primary children as it will be used in the primary classroom. My partner, Hafizzudin and I,we decided to make the e-book base on a nursery rhyme which is 'Head and shoulder, knees and toes'. Hope that we are able to create an interesting and appealing e-book.

Week 10

This week's class, Pn. Foziah asked us to complete the task 1,2 and 3 in the Module 3. We need to cut the chorus part of any song, remix the song and also edit the song 'Dua Insan' by Siti Nurhaliza and M.Nasir. She commented on everyone works as she checked one by one during the class. I realise that there are a lots that I need to improve for my tasks in the AUDIO EDITING. At the end of the class, we also need to submit the 2 assignments which are, LESSON PLANNING and TEACHING AIDS COLLECTIONS and also our Module 3.

Week 9

This week's class, Pn. Foziah was not around but we still need to come to the class because she gave us the next module which is Module 2. This module is about PHOTO EDITING

and we need to use ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS3 in order to complete this module. The assignments that we need to submit after raya also have been postpone as she gave us more time to finish it.. Thanks to her !

Week 8

For this week's class, we need to submit our assignment which is Module 1 and Pn. Foziah have gave us a new assignment which is Module 3. This module is all about audio editing and we need to use Audacity software in order to complete module 3. I haven't use this software before, so it can be considered as a new software to me. But I have used another software in order to edit audio before and I only know how to cut the audio... Using audacity, we need to cut the audio, changing the pitch, increasing and decreasing the music tempo etc.Beside that, two assignments need to be completed which is TEACHING AIDS COLLECTIONS where is the collection of technology and non-technology teaching aids as well as LESSON PLANNING ASSIGNMENT which is completing the lesson plan. All these was done in group of 5. My group mates are Fatin Farhana, Marhani, Hafizzudin and Faiz.
